v2.3.5 Latest Sep 14, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 📉 360p Video Mode — Omni Flash can now generate at 360p, which costs noticeably fewer credits per video. Pick Omni Flash and a new Resolution setting appears where you can choose between 360p and 720p. In the auto-download section you can then choose whether to save your videos as 360p or upscale them to 720p for free — zero extra credits. Works across every mode: Text, Start Frame, Start + End, and Reference, at all durations.
  • 🔁 Auto-Switch On Limit — New optional toggle in Image mode. When your Google account hits the daily limit for a model, instead of the batch stopping, TurboFlow keeps going with the next model down — Nano Banana Pro → Nano Banana 2 → Nano Banana 2 Lite. Start a 300-image run on Pro, hit the limit at 120, and the rest still finish. You'll see a clear log line the moment it switches so you always know what generated with which model. Off by default.
🐛 Changes & Fixes
  • ✓Fixed downloads stopping mid-batch — the big one. On long runs, downloads could silently stop partway through while generation kept going, leaving you with images on screen but not on disk. Tracked down and fixed.
  • ✓Downloads can no longer hang silently — added timeouts and stall detection across the whole download path. If something does go wrong you now get a clear message telling you what happened and which items to re-download, instead of a frozen progress bar.
  • ✓Fixed duplicate downloads — a related timing issue could cause the same image to download twice, producing files like 001(1).png.
  • ✓Faster "Unusual Activity" recovery — TurboFlow now retries the page reload and hands it straight to you with clear instructions, instead of creating extra empty projects in your Flow account while trying to recover. The help popup also leads with the fastest fix — switching Google account in Flow — and no longer reappears after you dismiss it.
  • ✓Other small refinements across the UI and background tasks.
v2.3.4 Critical Fix Sep 8, 2026

The follow-up to 2.3.3 — full support for the new Flow, with the upload and generation errors fixed.

🐛 Changes & Fixes
  • ✓Full support for Google's new Flow system — TurboFlow now fully supports flow.google.com and adapts to it automatically.
  • ✓Fixed 400 errors while generating — the errors that could interrupt generation on the new Flow are gone.
  • ✓Fixed upload errors & stuck uploads — image uploads no longer fail or freeze partway through.
  • ✓Fixed Google Ultra issues — the Veo 3.1 Lite low-priority model and 4K options now show correctly for Ultra accounts.
v2.3.3 Major Update Sep 6, 2026

Google moved Flow from labs.google/fx/tools/flow to flow.google.com and rebuilt the entire system underneath — including how the site talks to their servers. This release is TurboFlow's engine rebuilt to support both.

✨ What's New
  • 🚀 Support for the new flow.google.com — TurboFlow now detects which version of Flow you're on and adapts automatically. No settings to change, no manual switching. Everything works the same on both.
  • 🔌 New site permission — because the update adds support for flow.google.com, Chrome may ask you to approve the new site and could temporarily disable TurboFlow until you click Enable. This is expected.
v2.3.2 Aug 20, 2026
🐛 Changes & Fixes
  • ✓Reference images are more reliable now — fixed cases where TurboFlow would ask you to re-upload reference images that were actually fine. Batches also start faster now that there's no re-upload step.
  • ✓Gallery action bar is back where it belongs — select images and the Download / Animate / Regenerate bar appears pinned to the bottom of the panel again, instead of making you scroll all the way down to find it.
  • ✓Queue action bar too — Run All, Export, Import and Delete All stay visible while you scroll through your batches.
  • ✓Continue From Last Frame now shows in Reference mode — the video chaining toggle was hidden whenever Reference mode was selected. Your reference images shape the first clip, then every clip after continues from the one before it.
  • ✓Various small stability refinements across the Gallery, Queue, and generation engine.
v2.3.1 Aug 12, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 🎬 Continue From Last Frame — Video chaining is here. Turn it on in Video mode and TurboFlow takes the last frame of each video and uses it as the start frame of the next one. Works two ways: with Text mode the first clip generates from your prompt and everything after continues from it (no images needed at all), or with Start Frame mode your chosen image is used as the start frame of clip 1 and the chain takes over from there.
  • 🔗 Chain References + Different for Each — The big one. Reference Chaining and per-prompt references now work together instead of blocking each other. Turn on Chain References, then open "Different for Each" and assign whatever you want per prompt. Auto-Tag and Auto 1:1 both work. Every prompt gets the previous generated image plus its own references.
  • 🔁 Regenerate Videos — The regenerate button now works on videos too, not just images. Hit it on any video in the Gallery and it re-rolls with the exact same model, ratio, duration, mode, and frames.
  • 🔄 Auto Reference Transfer — Reuse Library references across different Flow projects without re-uploading. TurboFlow now detects references from another project and re-uploads them automatically in the background when you hit Generate. Works for references, start frames, end frames, and mapped images.
  • 📦 Download as ZIP — Select any images in the Gallery, open the Download dropdown, and hit Download as ZIP. You get one single file with everything inside, named and numbered exactly like your normal downloads. Images only for now, and ZIP downloads are standard quality.
  • ❓ FAQ Button — New FAQ icon in the top bar and a button at the bottom of Settings that takes you straight to our full FAQ page with all the most common questions.
🐛 Changes & Fixes
  • ✓ Fixed Regenerate on chained images — regenerating an image from a chained batch was quietly dropping the chain reference, so you'd get an unrelated image back. It now replays the exact references used the first time.
  • ✓ Prompts and filenames containing quotes now display correctly everywhere in the Queue, Gallery, and Library.
  • ✓ Queue cards now show a 🔗 chip on chained prompts so you can see at a glance which ones receive the previous image.
  • ✓ Reference cap is now handled cleanly when chaining — one slot is always reserved for the chain image so continuity never gets dropped in favor of an extra reference.
  • ✓ Various small stability and UI refinements across the Gallery, Queue, and generation engine.
v2.3.0 Jul 17, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 🍌 New Nano Banana 2 Lite Model — Google's newest image model is now in the dropdown, right alongside Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2. A faster, lighter option for quick generations — works with references too.
  • 📌 Fixed Reference + Chain — A big upgrade to Reference Chaining. After enabling Chain References, add a reference image, then choose how it's used: First image only (guides just the first image, like before) or Fixed on all (locks your reference onto every image in the chain). The new Fixed mode helps reduce the quality drift that used to creep in over long chains.
  • 🔁 Regenerate Images — Hit the new regenerate button right on any image in the Gallery to re-roll it with the same prompt and settings. Or select multiple images and hit Regenerate to re-roll them all at once — right next to Animate and Download.
  • ⏱️ New Custom Speed Mode — Fast, Balanced, and Slow now have a fourth option: Custom. Set your own delay (1–60 seconds) between each generation to dodge rate limits your way. Pick 5 seconds and TurboFlow waits 5s after each image before starting the next.
🐛 Changes & Fixes
  • ✓ Cleaner Gallery layout — action buttons on the left, status badge on the right for every image.
  • ✓ Various small stability and UI refinements across the Control tab, Gallery, and generation engine.
v2.2.9 Jul 2, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 🔗 Reference Chaining — Turn it on in Image mode and TurboFlow uses each generated image as the reference for the next prompt. Generates one at a time for a smooth, connected look. Optionally add a reference image to guide the very first prompt. Find the new "Chain references" toggle under your image reference options.
  • 📋 JSON Prompts — You can now drop full JSON-format prompts straight into the prompt box. Each JSON object counts as one prompt. There's also a new JSON import button next to the .txt import, so you can load a single object or a whole array of prompts from a .json file in one click.
  • 🎬 Multi-Prompt Animate — When you select images from the Gallery and hit Animate, you're no longer stuck with one shared prompt for all prompts. A new "Different per frame" toggle lets you assign a unique prompt to each start frame.
  • 📁 Editable Batch Folders — You can now rename the download folder for any queued batch directly in the Queue tab. Click the folder tag on any pending batch and set exactly where its images should land.
🐛 Changes & Fixes
  • ✓ Fixed start-frame buttons sometimes getting stuck on "Assign Start Frames" after using the Animate flow.
  • ✓ Various small stability and UI refinements across the Control tab, Queue, and mapper.
v2.2.8 Jun 17, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 🔢Custom Start Number — Choose what number your downloads start from. Set the second batch to start at 76 and files continue 76, 77, 78… instead of restarting at 1. Works with every naming mode, and each batch can have its own start number.
  • 🌟Omni Flash Start Frame — Google opened up Start Frame for the Omni Flash model, so now you can use it too.
  • 📋Newest Queues on Top — The Queue tab now shows your most recent batch at the top instead of buried at the bottom.
  • ❌Failed Items at a Glance — When a batch finishes, you get one quick line telling you exactly which images or videos failed, right in the Logs.
  • 📚Bigger Library — The image library cap is up from 200 to 500 images.
🐛 Changes & Fixes
  • ✓ Removed Imagen 4 — Google discontinued the model, so it's been cleanly removed from the dropdown.
  • ✓ Various small stability and UI refinements across Settings, the Queue, and download handling.
v2.2.7 Jun 1, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 🆕New Image Aspect Ratios — Three new ratios added to image mode: 1:1 (Square), 4:3 (Classic Landscape), and 3:4 (Classic Portrait). Now you've got the full set — 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, and 9:16.
  • 🏷️Auto-Tag Button in Library — Stop tagging images one by one. Hit Auto-tag and every untagged image gets a clean tag based on its filename instantly. "hero-shot.jpg" becomes @hero-shot. Duplicates get smart suffixes so nothing collides.
🐛 Bug Fixes
  • ✓ Fixed 4K upscale staying locked for some Ultra users — now unlocks the moment your tier is detected.
  • ✓ Fixed rare issue where the speed mode badge wouldn't update right after switching tabs.
  • ✓ Fixed mapper preview occasionally showing stale thumbnails after clearing assignments.
  • ✓ Other small refinements across the UI and background tasks.
v2.2.6 May 25, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 🆕New Omni Flash Model — Google's newest model is now in the dropdown. Generate up to 10-second videos even on free Google AI accounts. Available for Text and Reference modes.
  • ⏱️Video Duration Picker — Pick exactly how long your videos should be: 4s, 6s, 8s, or 10s. Veo models support 4s/6s/8s (Ultra & Pro), and Omni Flash unlocks 10s for everyone.
  • 🔀Drag & Drop Reference Reordering — Stop deleting and re-uploading to swap references. Grab the drag handle next to any frame or reference in the mapper and drop it on another prompt to swap them instantly.
🐛 Bug Fixes
  • ✓ Fixed batches with mapped references occasionally losing thumbnails after reload.
  • ✓ Fixed download dropdown sometimes staying open after a successful download.
  • ✓ Various smaller stability and UI polish improvements.
v2.2.5 May 16, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 💰New Yearly Plan — Save 31% — Subscribe yearly for $99/year instead of $12/month. $45 saved per year. Switch anytime from your subscription page.
  • ⚙️Manage Subscription Button — Cancel, upgrade to yearly, update payment, or view billing history — all from one button in Settings.
  • 🏷️Custom Filename Separator — Choose how filenames look: Dash (scene-001), Underscore (scene_001), Dot (scene.001), or None (scene001).
  • 🧹Strip @tags from Prompts — New mapper toggle that cleanly removes @tagname references from prompts after the image is attached.
  • 🔧"Fix Unusual Activity" Button — A new Settings button that walks you through clearing your Flow site data, which resolves the error for many users.
🐛 Critical Bug Fixes
  • ✓ Fixed video models not working — adapted to Google's latest changes so all Veo 3.1 models run smoothly again.
  • ✓ 4K image upscale no longer randomly locks for Ultra users.
  • ✓ Fixed library grid alignment with tall portrait images.
  • ✓ Reference picker now shows the filename (or @tag) under every thumbnail.
  • ✓ Reference support locked for Veo 3.1 Quality and the discontinued "Fast (Lower Priority)" model removed, per Google's changes.
v2.2.4 May 11, 2026
✨ What's New
  • ⚡Speed Mode — Choose how aggressively TurboFlow runs: Fast for max throughput, Balanced for fewer rate limits, or Slow for max reliability. Switch anytime and watch the header badge update live.
  • 🧹Sweep Stuck — One click marks frozen prompts as failed so you can retry them instantly. No more abandoned batches sitting in your queue.
  • 🚀Better Performance — Faster gallery rendering, smoother scrolling with thousands of items, and lower memory usage on long sessions.
  • 🖼️Improved Gallery & Reference Picker — Cleaner grouping, faster thumbnails, smoother bulk uploads, and clearer progress.
🐛 Bugs Fixed
  • ✓ Stuck placeholders now recover automatically after Chrome reloads.
  • ✓ Reference picker no longer freezes during bulk uploads.
  • ✓ Various smaller stability improvements.
v2.2.3 Critical Fix May 9, 2026

A focused hotfix for false "Daily limit reached" stops.

🐛 The Fix
  • ✓ Fixed batches dying early with a false "Daily limit reached" message even when you hadn't hit your limit. TurboFlow now reads Google's signals correctly — pacing itself when needed and speeding back up when clear. No more false stops.
v2.2.2 May 6, 2026
✨ What's New
  • 📝One Prompt Mode (Video → Start Frame) — Use a single prompt across multiple start frames. Perfect for animating a batch of images with the same motion.
  • 🎬Animate from Gallery — A new animate button on every generated image. Animate one, or select multiple and batch-animate them all.
  • 🔄Retry Failed in Queue — Retry only the failed prompts in a batch without starting over. Files keep their original numbering so downloads stay in order.
🐛 Bugs Fixed
  • ✓ Improved reCAPTCHA recovery.
  • ✓ Better error messages when batches fail mid-generation.
  • ✓ Gallery placeholders no longer get stuck after Chrome reloads.
  • ✓ Queue status correctly recovers after reopening the side panel.
